I'm Daisy Davy - a passionate and detail driven Hair and Makeup Artist specialising in work for film, television, and editorial projects.

I am currently in my final year at Screen and Film School Brighton studying Hair and Makeup for Screen and Film. Here, I developed a strong foundation in on-set practices, character makeup design, special effects prosthetics, and period hair and makeup styling. My technical training also includes a VTCT Level 3 Diploma in Beauty Therapy and Makeup and a VTCT Level 3 Diploma in Hair and Media Makeup from TLT Academy, as well as a VTCT Level 4 Diploma in Hair and Media Makeup from LCBT.
My Story

My creative practice is rooted in storytelling - I believe that makeup is not just a visual tool, but a way to bring characters, emotions, and entire worlds to life. One of my biggest creative inspirations is Ve Neil, whose work on films like Beetlejuice and the Hunger Games inspired me to explore special effects, bold character makeup, and the storytelling power of transformation. Her career continues to influence the way I approach design and creativity in my own work.

I am passionate about creating work that is both visually powerful and emotionally authentic, whether that means building detailed prosthetics, designing clean beauty looks, or recreating historical hairstyles with precision.

As a professional, I am known for my strong work ethic, organisation, and collaborative spirit on set. My experiences across childcare, hospitality, and beauty industries have strengthened my communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to adapt to different working environments and creative terms
